I am a 29 year old first time mom.  My husband and I planned and prayed for a child.  We were blessed in 2020 of all years with a beautiful baby boy. At 4 weeks of age something seemed abnormal with his ability to focus with his eyes.

My son William was first diagnosed with vision impairment and bilateral retinal detachment at 8 weeks of age.  Not long after we were in a flurry of appointments and eye surgeries.

William has Norrie disease.  Despite many surgical interventions he is now completely blind.  I am here to help who might be struggling with similar issues by sharing my story.  Here you can find tips, tricks, information, and the raw emotions and fears that a parent with a disabled child feels daily.
