MISSION

If you are a first time mom like me you know how difficult the transition to motherhood and parenting is!  No one prepares you for the sleepless nights, overinvolved family, and overall stress it brings.  Now add COVID to that... Now add the journey of learning your newborn has a lifelong disability!

Motherhood has many ups and downs on its own.  There is nothing that compares to learning your newborn child's life will forever be effected by a disability.  I would not wish this journey on my worst enemy.  My goal for this site is to serve as a useful source to those seeking information, help, or advice. I founded The Life of a SmushFace Mom with a mission of helping others going through similar issues to know they are not alone as well as serve as a recourse and support system for whomever is in need.

Take some time to explore the blog, read something interesting, and feel free to reach out with your story.
